Ralph C. McCullough, II received his juris doctorate from Tulane University Law School in 1965. He is a member of both the South Carolina and Louisiana and Bars and currently serves as a Professor of Law and the Managing Director of the Charleston School of Law. Mr. McCullogh is also a Distinguished Professor of Emeritus at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as a faculty member for 34 years. From 1970 to 1975, he served as both the Assistant Dean at the university and held the American College of Trial Lawyers Chair for Advocacy. He also served as Adjunct Professor of Pathology for the Medical University of South Carolina and an Adjunct Professor of Law and Medicine for the University of South Carolina Medical School.
Since 1975, Mr. McCullogh has served as a member of the United States Panel Trustees. In addition, he has worked as a Chapter 11 Trustee in a multitude of complex cases. He is currently a Plan Trustee in HomeGold, Inc./HomeGold Financial/Carolina Investors, Inc. His practice outside of bankruptcy law has involved handling torts in the areas of construction law, professional negligence, and product liability.
